Well, here it is, the new apple store at Arrowhead mall in Glendale,
AZ. This is the line around 7:45 am. The store opens at 10am. They are
only going to let the iPhone customers in first. Will be a long day
for some, thankfully I'm about number 30 in line. Guess I'm buying an
iPhone today :) All I wanted was to visit the store and get the free
tshirt.

Carrier Selection appearing on the iPhone

Interesting 'Carrier Selection' that showed up on my iPhone this morning after turning it on and trying to activate WiFi. After taking the pics and going back to the Home Screen and back again, the selection disappeared.

What Does this mean? Not sure. This is the first time I have seen this Carrier selection before. Could Apple be planning something? Guess we'll know on June 9th.

New Apple Store coming to Glendale, Arizona

Apparently there is a new Apple Store coming to Arrowhead mall in North West Phoenix this summer!!! On April 9th I was checking my RSS feeds and came across the a posting (shown below) on craigslist. I immediately followed the link to apply. I took me to the job opportunities website where the new store showed up. I applied for a Business Consultant position but they wanted me for a Mac Genius... unfortunately, they don't pay that much. In the interview, the recruiter couldn't give me a date of opening, however, she did say that in person interviewing was starting the 1st of May and the store would be open in early summer '08. However, to all you folks that need a place to buy all things Apple... Make sure to visit MacMedia in Arrowhead area right now http://www.macmediainc.com.
